F-Units is a modern punk/hard rock band based in New York City's Lower East Side. Formed in 2004, F-Units derived their name from diesel engine locomotives built by General Motors' Electro-Motive Division in the 1950s. The name 'F-Units' is a metaphor for the band's sound which is fueled by power-pop hooks and raunch-rock riffs slammed together with the mind-numbing force of a streamlined freight train.

F-Units released their debut full-length album "Reject On Impact" September 2006, mixed by LA producer, Scott Gilman. They are currenty mixing a live EP and working on tracks for a second album.
